Our Fleet

The Club races fleet and one design classes (ie Division 1, 2 & 3, BW36s, B-W 8's,  Thunderbirds, Etchells, Endeavour 24's, and S80's). The Dinghy Division competes regularly in Lasers, Optimists, 420's, Tasars and Pacers.

As well as an extensive sailing programme (State Class Championships, Offshore Races, Match Racing, Team Racing series) the Club conducts year round midweek races on Wednesday afternoons, Thursday night twilights, Saturday afternoon club racing and Sunday afternoon dinghy racing during the Summer.

RPYC boasts one of the largest Summer twilight fleet in Perth with over 1000 people regularly racing on Thursday nights.

Royal Perth conducts a wide range of Sail Training Courses throughout the year and arranges for Course Graduates to continue Sailing and Racing by placing them with an appropriate Skipper who will continue the training.

Royal Perth Yacht Club is a dynamic progressive club dedicated to producing champions, staging world-class events and ensuring that the sport of sailing is accessible to everyone.
